I’ve been looking for The Real Alfredo Sauce for a while now and here it is finally. You won’t get a better sauce anywhere else, trust me on this. This recipe might not be as healthy as some others, but god this is just the best sauce ever. If those ingredients are not enough for you, add some bacon bits in there! You’ll just die. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add fettuccini and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

In a large saucepan, cook garlic in a dash of oil over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add cream and butter and let the butter melt. Stir in cheese over medium heat until melted; this will thicken the sauce.

Add pasta to sauce. Use enough of the pasta so that all of the sauce is used and the pasta is thoroughly coated. Serve immediately.
